Current Volunteers Needed
Physical Education Instructor: Tuesday or Thursday late afternoon. Two to four volunteers would be optimum.
Teaching Assistants: Monday through Friday for morning and/or afternoon sessions.
Adventure Therapy Assistants: Monday through Wednesday late afternoon. Note: Adventure therapy incorporates the use of the ropes course.
Tutors: Evenings and weekends.
ESE Reading Tutor: Days and hours are flexible.
Mentors: Evenings and weekends. Play chess, cards, share a hobby, outdoor games, teach vocational skills or other activities. Music Teacher: Someone that is able to instruct music and/or instrument skills.
Climbing Wall Designer: An individual or group that can develop and build a rock-climbing wall.
Field Trip Assistant: Friday afternoons. This individual can volunteer once a month or every week. The field trips will include hiking, canoeing, biking, horseback riding or a community service project.
Receptionist: Monday through Friday from 7:30am-6:30pm. Three- and Four-hour blocks would be optimum.
Cook: Monday through Friday to prepare meals. Hours are flexible.
Family Dinner Planner: Two Sundays a month, family dinners will be held and an adult is needed to plan for these. The teens will help prepare and cook while the adult plans and supervises.
Weekend House Staff: Friday evening to Sunday evening, House Staff is needed to supervise the teens. Volunteers interested would be placed on a rotating schedule.
Carpenter: To build shelves and modify furnishings.
